Sam Frost grew up in Atlas city, living a normal teenager's life. then one day after school The Alien race called the Riki attacked the city. Sam and his brother Ian was caught in  the middle of the cities heroes and the alien race, trying to get home, both started to feel sick. Sam was freezing and Ian was burning up, they made it to their house, it was on fire, Sam out of fear , yelled for his parents and threw his hands forward and out of them came ice which put the fire out, Ian who was much younger started drawing the heat from the flames within his body. their parents was found too late, dead in the remains of the house. On that day , Sam  and Ian became the heroes know as Articfrost and Reignfyre. born with mutant powers wanting revenge on the Riki for their parents lives.
